Besides Orders and Clans we also have members of the Royal Court that are playable!
Each kingdom has a royal family. The leaders of each have advisers, however, their word is law.
Dalmasca has a King/Queen, who commands their kingdom behind the protection of their walled city.
Archadia and Rozarria have an Emperor/Empress. The two are political enemies but because of the decline of humes that have a tense truce.
They have the power to either welcome the Orders into their city, align themselves with one or turn them away. Espers mean power in this day and age so choose your allies and enemies wisely.
There are also royal family members, given the titles of Lord/Ladies, Dukes/Duchesses, Counts/Countesses and Barons/Baronesses. The purer blood you have to the head of the family, the higher title and position in court you have. They have comfortable living standards and align themselves with what Order their head of state has.
